Introduction to Brush Pen Calligraphy (beginner level)
Materials are included: worksheets, three brush pens and gridline papers.
In this class, you will learn about
- brush pens
- basic strokes
- how to construct the minuscules
- how to link the letters
- writing a short quote

Brush pen
Modern Brush Pen Calligraphy (intermediate level)
This class is for those who joined my Brush Pen Beginner Class.
Materials are included: note, gridline papers and an A5 card paper.
***You MUST bring your own brush pens.
In this class, you will learn about
- basic strokes for majuscules
- how to construct the majuscules
- connecting and the spacing between minuscule and majuscules
- how to create a bouncy effect to the text
- You will be able to design a card in the end of the class

Engraving
Private Engraving Class (intermediate level)
Engraving calligraphy on glass is one of the featured classes in LY’s Studio. Engraving a name or message makes the gift extra special and unique. And you can do it yourself!
This class is for those who have learnt pointed pen or brush pen calligraphy before.
In this class, you will learn about:
- faux calligraphy
- how to use an engraving pen
- how to write and draw on glass with the engraving pen
- how to engrave with minimum mistakes
- waxing skill
*You will engrave a name/short quote on one of the wine glasses by the end of the class.
Materials included: an engraving pen, a single glove, wax filling and two wine glasses.

Practice Class (All levels)
Calligraphy Practice Class is a small class for those who recently learnt calligraphy (pointed pen or brush pen) and improvers. There will be lots of 1 on 1 tutorial time in this class.
In this class, we will work on the letter form and or self-criticising skill.
Materials included: Note and papers.
